I'm confident that you will be able to find a ride. However, if you don't, from the cowpalace, cross the street and go up the block to a bus stop. Catch the 15 towards the Balboa BART station. Catch a train going to Fremont or Dub/Pleas., which will take you to the Lake Merrit BART station. It's only half a block from Gaskell's.
